Announcements
As you may know by now, we are unable to host the in-person Annual RCS Scholarship Dinner/Dance this year. However, we still need to raise funds for our 2021 RHS graduates. We will be doing so through sponsorships and a virtual basket raffle. See below for details...
In our third and final "Overcoming the Challenges" video, we examine how we have been providing our students with teacher instruction five days a week for the entire school year.
Next up in our three-part "Overcoming the Challenges" video series is a profile on our Instructional Coaches and how we are utilizing them to maximize our new technology and better educate our students.
Earlier this month, the MCTEAA Awards ceremony honoring outstanding Macomb County students in Career and Technical Education programs was held virtually. This year's honorees from Roseville High School are Gehad Badawy and Tori Widen. RHS is recognized beginning at the 57:14 mark.
About RCS
Experienced Professionals
Roseville Schools staff members are all well-trained professionals who excel in their field. Members serve as advisers as well as coaches to ensure your child's educational success.
Opportunities for Students
Roseville offers many opportunities for students to make a positive impact on their school. Extra-curricular activities are one of those opportunities. Students can participant in an activity they enjoy, where they can interact with others, and work to develop their talents and passions.
Technology
Roseville Community Schools is one of the most technologically advanced districts in Macomb County. We have implemented a 1:1 student learning device initiative throughout our schools, allowing each student to have a laptop or iPad in their hands to supplement learning. Each classroom has been equipped with a large touchscreen display board, allowing staff and students to experience interactive lessons, mirror devices for real-time solutions, and to serve as an internet capable television. The district has also upgraded computer labs, classroom audio and phone systems, and bolstered our wireless service to include 500+ access points to manage the robust collection of classroom devices.
Buildings
We take pride in providing a safe and secure environment for every student. All schools have been renovated to provide secured entrances and increased safety.
