How to Enroll: K-12 Enrollment Information

Enrollment is now open for the 2020-2021 school year for Roseville residents!

Students already enrolled in Roseville Community Schools do not need to register again. This new online registration link is for new students only. 

Roseville Community Schools has partnered with PowerSchool to offer a new Central Registration process for families.  We have partnered with PowerSchool to offer one of Macomb County’s first.

This secure, streamlined, online student registration platform provides parents with the convenience and flexibility of enrolling their students online, anytime.  The new system will eliminate precious hours spent filling out forms by hand, making multiple trips to the school for missing items, or losing work time to schedule appointments during school hours.

Online registration features include:

  • Parents will input their child’s information to ensure its accuracy
  • Multiple students can be enrolled at one time 
  • Information completed during the registration process automatically flows to PowerSchool and SchoolMessenger ensuring parents get important information updates from their school
  • One centralized office and contact for all things concerning student registration

Which school should my child attend?

You must register at the school your street is assigned to. To find your home school click on either the elementary or middle school boundary map.

 

District Residents

Roseville residents can enroll at their home school during the school year,  as long as you live within the school district boundary. Please bring with you the required items from the list below. Additional forms will be provided at enrollment.

If the student receives Special Education services please call 586-445-5675 before enrolling.

Macomb County Residents

School of Choice students MUST BE approved prior to registration.  Macomb County residents can apply. Three proofs of residency required with application. Kindergarten students are approved but grades 1-12 must include the prior discipline form (one for each of the schools they have attended in past 2 years)

Applications are available at the Administration Building located at 18975 Church Street. Please bring with you three proofs of Macomb County residency (three of the following:  closing documents, rental/lease agreement, property tax statement, current electrical bill, gas bill, driver's license or state ID, tax bill, voter registration or affidavit in residency).

Discipline history will be verified. If no suspensions, they will be approved. If there are suspensions, the administrators will review and determine if approved or denied. Parent will be contacted either way

Preschool Enrollment Information

We believe that preschoolers are active learners. Roseville preschoolers are encouraged to challenge their minds as well as their fine and gross motor skills. This promotes self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-expression. All children are accepted as unique individuals.

Great Start Readiness (GSRP)

SRP is a free full-day, state-funded preschool program. Classes are Monday-Thursday from 8:55-3:45 PM. Qualification is based on predetermined factors set by the Michigan Department of Education.

Who is eligible?

  • Must meet at least 2 risk factors as determined by the MDE
  • Macomb County Resident
  • 4 years-old on or before September 1, 2019

Program Information

  • 16 students in a class
  • Classes are Monday-Thursday
  • Taught by a certified teacher and a certified associate teacher.

Great Start Readiness enrollment forms are available at Huron Park Elementary School located at 18530 Marquette or at the Administration Building located at 18975 Church Street.

Please bring with you:

  • Driver's License
  • 2 Proofs of Residency
  • Last Year's Income Tax Return
  • Child's Shot Record
  • Child's Birth Certificate

Kindergarten Registration

Roseville Community schools offers a full-day kindergarten program in all of our elementary schools.  To be eligible to an attend kindergarten, a child must be five-years-old by September 1, 2019. If the student receives Special Education services please call 586-445-5675 before enrolling. Elementary buildings will be open on August 19, 2019. You can enroll during the hours of 9:00-11:00 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m.

  • Certified Birth Certificate
  • Completed Immunization Record (DTP, POLIO, MMR, HEP-B, MENINGOCOCCAL and VARICELLA)
  • Proof of Residency -- three of the following:  closing documents, rental/lease agreement, property tax statement, current electrical bill, gas bill or phone bill, driver's license or state ID, voter registration or affidavit in residency
  • Physical Form (Kindergarten only - can be submitted later, but before the 1st day of school)
  • Vision & Hearing Screening (Kindergarten only - can be submitted later, but before the 1st day of school)

Elementary School Registration Grades 1 - 5

New students entering grades 1 - 5 can register at their home school. Elementary buildings will be open on August 19, 2019. You can enroll during the hours of 9:00-11:00 a.m. and 1:00-3:00 p.m.  If the student receives Special Education services,  please call 586-445-5675 before enrolling. They, too, must provide :

  • Certified Birth Certificate
  • Completed Immunization Record (DTP, POLIO, MMR, HEP-B, MENINGOCOCCAL and VARICELLA)

Middle School Registration Grades 6 - 8

New students entering grades 6-8 can register at their home school during the summer on Mondays and Tuesdays from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. If the student receives Special Education services, please call 586-445-5675 before enrolling. Parents must provide :

  • Certified Birth Certificate
  • Completed Immunization Record (DTP, POLIO, MMR, HEP-B, MENINGOCOCCAL and VARICELLA)
  • Proof of Residency -- three of the following:  closing documents, rental/lease agreement, property tax statement, current electrical bill, gas bill or phone bill, driver's license or state ID, voter registration or affidavit in residency
  • Most Recent Report Card

High School Registration Grades 9 - 12

New students entering grades 9-12 can register at the Roseville High School. Please call (586) 445-5553 first.  If the student receives Special Education services, please call 586-445-5675 before enrolling. Parents must provide :

  • Certified Birth Certificate
  • Completed Immunization Record (DTP, POLIO, MMR, HEP-B, MENINGOCOCCAL and VARICELLA)

  • Most Recent Report Card
  • Withdrawal Form (for high school students entering after school year begins)
