Students
Every Roseville Community Schools student and employee will receive a virtual library card. Students will use “RCS” followed by their school ID/lunch code, while employees will use “RCS” followed by their employee number. Students’ four-digit PINs will be their birth month and day; employees’ PINs will be the last four digits of their employee ID. Contact the library for help accessing digital resources with your virtual card.
With Libby, students can enjoy free ebooks, digital audiobooks, and magazines from your library. All that's needed is a library card.
Tutor.com connects a student with a professional tutor online to receive help with difficult homework problems, review term papers, and more. Tutors are available everyday from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Michigan Activity Pass provides Michigan library cardholders the opportunity to discover and explore participating cultural destinations, parks, campgrounds and recreation areas in the state at a discounted rate.
Transparent Language Online provides an effective and engaging experience for language learners looking to build their vocabulary, practice their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and maintain what they learn. With courses and supplemental resources in 110+ languages, including a few language courses designed for children ages 6 and up.
Michigan E-Library provides access to a wide variety of informational databases such as Britannica School, Learning Express Library, Newspaper Source Plus, Novelist Plus, Opposing Viewpoints in Context, and World Book Kids.
With Hoopla, Roseville cardholders can borrow and enjoy movies, TV shows, audiobooks, eBooks, comics, and music. The best part about hoopla: there are no holds – if you see something in the catalog, you can immediately check it out. Users can borrow up to 5 items per month.
YouTube Kids provides a more contained environment for kids to explore YouTube and makes it easier for parents and caregivers to guide their journey.
